It was the most impressive comeback of 2008 (along with the reunion of My Bloody Valentine). Eleven years after their last album, Portishead returned with their "Third" redifining modern pop music once again. "Machine Gun" offered the triumphant gunshots announcing their return, the soundtrack to the most beautiful nightmare.
